The SWORD is designed to meet the needs of the physically disabled, realizing gear that is simple and less tiring to operate, providing enjoyment of use. In order to make the equipment easier to use and avoid fatigue, we adopted the Control Stick Operation System (CSOS) that makes it possible for a driver to move the handgrip from between their thighs.
The carefully designed handgrip fits comfortably in the driver's hand when the driver is accelerating or braking. This combined with the uniquely designed link mechanism gives drivers unrivaled smoothness in braking. Another unique feature is the Twist and Ratchet Lock System (TRLS) that locks the device at the brake position while shifting gears or stopping at a red light.
